Duni sponsors Skistar Swedish Open in Båstad – and takes street food to a new level
As new official partner, Duni spreads the love for good food during the men’s tennis week in Båstad, Sweden. In a unique collaboration with Michelin Star chef, Titti Qvarnström, a special menu has been developed. Offered to Båstad’s visitors from Duni's own food truck, it carries an entirely sustainable message.
The concept is titled "Street Food by Duni". Titti Qvarnström, Sweden's possibly hottest chef right now, has developed an all-vegetarian menu, based entirely on local vegetables and grains from Scania. The food is served along with Duni's ecoecho® series, a collection consisting of plates, cutlery and napkins made from materials that are fully compostable and eco-conscious.
Next to the food truck, Duni demonstrates how ecoecho® products are composted in collaboration with Solserv. Visitors can see for themselves how the process of composting the products takes place.
"This concept is truly relevant today and we are delighted to be able to offer it to a large audience during the tennis week in Båstad," says Thomas Gustafsson, CEO, Duni. "We want to give the tennis viewers something extraordinary. We believe that our street food with Michelin Star chef status, served together with the most sustainable products, will be highly appreciated. The fact that we can show how our products transform to soil is also something we are proud of."
