Meet Lyndsey Parette, Sustainability Manager with specific responsibility for Circular Solutions & External Affairs in Duni Group.
Why did you decide to go into the field of sustainability?
I’ve always felt it was important to work with something that creates value for society and sustainability was an obvious path. It’s been exciting to watch the role that sustainability has taken in companies, more and more are making it a core strategy, like Duni Group.
How can Duni Group support the transformation into a more circular society?
We start with choosing smart, more sustainable, materials and design concepts that support different circular solutions; recycling, composting and reuse, for example. However, to become fully circular, we need to look outside of ourselves and partner with other organizations. Our partnerships with Relevo in Germany and &Repeat in Sweden are great examples of working with different concept solutions. I’m also looking forward to new projects and partnerships to come!
Which project are you most excited about?
I’m excited about asking and answering the most difficult questions when it comes to sustainability and the food experience industry. And I’m most excited about working with other organizations and experts to help us fully transition towards a circular economy.
And finally, which Duni Group product is your favourite?
I’m a sucker for a printed napkin!
