Duni Group continues partnership with Mitt Liv

For several years Duni Group have been a proud partner to Mitt Liv, dedicated to promoting an inclusive Swedish labor market that values diversity.

Our People & Culture Manager Malin Cullin has during a year been involved as a mentor. We were interested to capture some of her reflections:

💬 Mitt Liv is an amazing organization that battles exclusion on the Swedish labor market. I am so proud of our collaboration, and we are lucky to have employed several mentees at our headquarters in Malmö. I have also recently, together with our CEO, Robert Dackeskog, had the privilege to be a mentor and support an academic with a foreign background.

💬 Personally, it has been an eye-opener to get a deeper awareness of how the Swedish labor market works and can be perceived by people trying to enter it. It is a struggle to navigate the business culture, build networks of your own and understand the rules and regulations. As a company we need to work with how we recruit, increase our understanding about biases, and challenge ourselves.

I see that many big corporations are well equipped and are role models here, but a vast majority of companies are still far behind. I have met so many fantastic academics with great qualifications who hasn’t been given the chance yet so there is a lot more work to be done!

💬 We strive to have mentors from our organization every year and are currently recruiting new ones. My ambition is that all members of the Management team should be a mentor in Mitt Livs Chans, at least once.
