Meet Karolin Larsson, our Product & Concept Designer at Duni Group. Karolin has been part of the team for 7 years, and this season she has designed the award winning Laponian concept, an assortment of multifunctional table accessories designed for restaurants.

Where do you find inspiration for your product designs?

”It all comes from problem-solving: looking at human behaviour in relation to objects, services, food, time, space, association, senses, feasibility and production. Then balancing what has been possible versus what could be made possible. With an endless drive for improvement.”

Can you share what products you are currently workng on?

”At the moment I am working with several new concepts involving LED lights, boxes, bowls, and eating & drinking tools. My problem-solving (or my inspiration) is directed specifically toward circularity, materials and design for sustainability.”
