Meet Melinda Holm, one of our young leaders at Duni Group, working as Communications Manager in Malmö, Sweden 🚀

💥 Tell us about your career journey at Duni Group

I started in April 2018 during my final semester at the university as an Inhouse Agency Coordinator. First, I was working part time while finishing my studies in communication and management. At the end of 2018 I was asked to take on the role as Communications Specialist and last year as Communication Manager when I got an amazing team member on board.

💥 What are the best things about working with communication?

I think it is the variety of tasks that make the job so much fun. Our team focus on the three areas of internal, external and investor communication which means there is always something to do. One day we plan for next year’s annual and sustainability report, create content for Linkedin and prepare for photo sessions, and the next day we work with the interim report, write press releases, and finalize the company presentation.

💥 You have been a part of our Culture & Values project team, tell us more about that

When I started at Duni Group there wasn’t much talk about the company values (probably because they were very dated). But that changed two years ago, and I got the chance to join a project team assigned to present new one values that should reflect the company and our employees today. Through workshops, surveys, meetings and much more, three new values were approved that really represents our people and culture and resonates well with my personal ones.

💥 What is your favorite Duni Group product?

During the pandemic it has been our compostable wet towels. A true life saver to always keep in your bag!
